Elizabeth Semenova is the Medical Practice Director and Social Worker with Integrated MD Care. She has a background in clinical social work, program directorship and ecumenical spiritual care at several local and national hospice organizations. Her combined experience with social services, non-profit and healthcare organizations drove her passion for shifting the paradigm of healthcare for Geriatric, Palliative and End of Life Care. Elizabeth specializes in offering resources, education, and training, as well as comforting and enlightening care in the fields of End-of-Life Care Navigation, Life Care Planning, Medical Aid-in-Dying, and Ecumenical Grief and Bereavement Counseling.
Elizabeth holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA; a Master of Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC; and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics and Social Justice from Georgetown University, Washington, DC. She recently served on research projects with University of California San Diego and University of Southern California in clinical trials and qualitative research regarding multicultural adaptations to best practices in Palliative and End-of-Life Care. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Integrated Lifecare Foundation and The Hemlock Society of San Diego.
